Located in the heart of Lubbock County, Texas, Quail Ridge sits directly beneath one of the region's most productive migratory corridors for sandhill cranes, geese, ducks, and dove. Our carefully managed property offers diverse hunting opportunities across two managed duck ponds, a 35-acre playa lake, and 120 acres of agricultural land that attract and hold migrating waterfowl throughout the season. For upland hunters, our grounds consistently provide exciting pheasant and quail hunting opportunities, ensuring memorable hunts regardless of the time of year.

What truly sets Quail Ridge apart is our commitment to providing a seamless, all-inclusive experience. Rather than charging per species or requiring guests to coordinate their own accommodations, transportation, and meals, we handle every detail. From airport pickup and comfortable lodging to chef-prepared meals and guided hunts, our guests can focus entirely on enjoying the experience and making memories in the field.

To accommodate every type of hunter, Quail Ridge offers a variety of private lodging options designed to provide both comfort and convenience. Guests can choose from cabins suited for 1–2 guests, 2–4 guests, or larger groups of 4–8 guests. Every cabin features a private bathroom with a shower and toilet, a mini refrigerator, complimentary Texas-made coffee, and a television, ensuring that every guest enjoys the comforts of home while experiencing the beauty of West Texas.

Our philosophy is simple: hunting should never feel crowded. Unlike large-scale operations that place excessive numbers of hunters in a single field or blind, we maintain small hunting groups of just four to six guns and never overbook a hunting area. This creates a safer, more enjoyable experience where hunters can fully participate in the action, appreciate each retrieve, and enjoy higher-quality table fare without excessive shot damage to harvested birds.

We also understand that waterfowl hunting is ultimately dependent on migration and weather patterns. While our location offers outstanding opportunities, we stand behind our commitment to guest satisfaction. If waterfowl conditions do not meet expectations during your stay, we offer both a partial adjustment to your current hunt and a discount toward a future booking—because we believe our guests deserve value and honesty, regardless of conditions.

Between hunts, guests can relax and enjoy our stocked fishing ponds and experience the authentic hospitality that defines West Texas. Both of our managed ponds are stocked with multiple species of fish, providing excellent fishing opportunities and another way to enjoy the property between morning and evening hunts. All meals are catered and provided.

What's included in the price for a weekend stay?

Transportation to and from the airport/lodging, dinner Friday night, breakfast, lunch, and dinner Saturday with snacks and beverages, breakfast Sunday, lodging, freedom to hunt any birds within legal limits, fishing, and a gift bag. Ammunition, gun rentals, and an "open bar" are available upon request.
